In 2021, Share Winter distributed over $250,000 worth of in-kind donations from partners, acting as an invaluable logistics liaison between the national winter sports industry and youth learn to ski and snowboard programs across the US.
During winter 2021, two Share Winter grantees, Crystal Community Ski Club (CCSC) and the YMCA of Greater Flint, collaborated to provide an opportunity for youth to share their mutual love of skiing and learn from each other. This outstanding collaboration demonstrates how leaders can share winter to create a more diverse, inclusive, and welcoming winter sports community.
